The charming location in an upscale district. The room offered a comfortable atmosphere with a lovely view of Mount Vesuvius, but the breakfast area felt a bit cramped during busy hours. Breakfast selection featured quality seasonal vegetables, though it could benefit from a wider range of options.

Everything was simply well-maintained. The room we had included a personal safe, an air conditioning, and an electronic key card. The location was amazing right next to the Funicular that takes you straight into the centre of Naples for 1euro and the staff here was exceptionally kind and super-friendly...

If you are planning to stay in Naples (Napoli) the Hotel Cimarosa is brillantly located. Up on the hill in Volmero it is away from the seedier side of Naples with its own evening shopping and cafe district. It is a 15 min light rail trip to the centre of downtown Naples and cost a few euro. The initial trip in the taxi from Napoli Centrale cost about 30 euros and I was initially concerned but then we found out about the light rail/cable car and this made our travel quite easy. I would recommend getting the taxi to get up there at first as the light rail station is tricky to find. The hotel is on the 5th floor up a traditional small lift. It is clean and the rooms are modern. The front desk service is excellent and the breakfast is well stacked tradtional Italian: cereal, fruit, yogurt, and a variety of Italian cakes and pastries. I am not sure that this would be a good choice if you had a number of children but for a couple it was perfect. This seems to be a popular place for Italian business people to stay. I would stay here again on a visit to Naples.
